L'ETAPE Barcelona - Andorra
Emulate the professional cyclists in the tour of the seventh stage of the Tour of France 2009.
The start will take place in the sports facilities of the University of Barcelona (Avd. Diagonal, 695) and the arrival will be in Andorra-Arcalis at 2.240 m.
It is an exigent route with continuous rise that allows fans to emulate the professional cyclists in the international bunch.

L’Etape is opened to everybody.
For lovers of the bicycle, semi professionals’ cyclists our amateurs but also for the beginners who want to propose themselves a challenge … all the profiles can be found in this event and we are delighted to receive all.
There is no selection depending on the sports levels, everybody can take part.
The essential condition to participate is the preparation, the training. You must take your participation seriously, this is a hard race and it is essential to follow an intensive training.
WHERE?
In the mountain!
This is the heart of the event, to propose routes in the mountain that allow to the cyclists to go over the ports of the different mountainous clumps.
HOW THE RACE IS DEVELOPPED?
The start will be at 7:30 a.m. and the participants will have a maximum of 13 hours to reach the finish line.
The squad is opened very fast in dozens of kilometers generating a continuous flow in the race.
